VetWorld (“we”, “us”) provides a veterinary clinic management platform for practices in Tunisia. We believe in collecting as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
VetWorld is a software-as-a-service platform operated in Tunisia. We process personal data in line with Tunisian Organic Law n° 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data.
The personal data we collect
We deliberately keep this to a minimum. When you create an account, we collect only:
- Full name — to identify you inside your clinic and on documents.
- Email address — to sign you in, verify your account, reset your password and send account-related messages.
- Phone number — to contact you about your account when needed.
That’s it. We do not collect government IDs, payment card numbers, location tracking, or behavioural advertising profiles. We only ask for what the platform genuinely needs to function.
Clinic data you enter
As you use VetWorld, you add operational data such as clients, pets, consultations, inventory and suppliers. This content belongs to you. We process it solely to provide the service to you and your team, and we never sell it.
How we use your data
- To create, secure and operate your account.
- To authenticate you, verify your email and let you reset your password.
- To contact you about your subscription, important changes or support requests.
- To keep the service reliable and prevent abuse.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal data.
- We don’t use your data for third-party advertising.
- We don’t share your clinic data with other clinics.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in (authentication tokens). With “Remember me” enabled these persist on your device; otherwise they’re cleared when you close the browser. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Images you upload
Photos you choose to upload (for clients, pets, consultations, inventory, suppliers, users or your clinic) are stored with our image hosting provider, Cloudinary, and referenced by URL from your account.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, password hashing, short-lived access tokens with rotating refresh tokens, and role-based access controls so staff only see what they’re permitted to.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your personal data, and ask us to stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@vetworld.app and we’ll respond promptly.
Children
VetWorld is a professional tool for veterinary clinics and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
